Available Position: ASSISTANT FINANCE DIRECTOR:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree, with major in Accounting, Business, or Public Administration or its equivalent. Experience in the public sector is highly desirable.
Under direction of Finance Director, will assist and provide information and analysis of annual budgets and projections of expenditures and revenue; to work closely with, prepare reconciliation and supply information to Town’s appointed auditor, financial advisor, bond counsel and bank representatives; Incumbent should understand the different basis of accounting and be able to work with computerized spreadsheets. Maintain financial records and documentation for grants. *Flexibility to attend evening meetings as requested. To assist and provide supervision over employees of the Finance Department rendering Financial Services. *Oversees Finance Department in the absence of the Financial Director.
