JOB OPPORTUNITY: ASSISTANT FINANCE DIRECTOR
The Town of Cromwell is accepting job applications for the position of Assistant Finance Director. A copy of the job description is available online at www.cromwellct.com

Under the general supervision of the Director of Finance, responsible for administrative and professional work involving the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounting records, adjusting entries, accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, balancing of accounts, and the preparation and accuracy of financial statements and reports. Responsible for other fiscal duties assigned, including assisting with Treasury, budgetary and other financial assignments. Responsible for risk management processes, including assessment, reporting, and training.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or closely related field plus three (3) years experience in municipal government finance, including 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
Full-time, non-union, exempt position. Pay grade (E4) $59,297 - $83,436 (2014-15). Salary commensurate with experience.
