FINANCE DIRECTOR

 

 

TOWN OF MANSFIELD

 

 

We are searching for a talented and energetic professional to serve as the Town’s Finance Director. This position performs complex professional and administrative work in planning, organizing and directing the financial activities of the Town, MBOE, and Region 19 as well as related work as required.  Duties also include planning, organizing, directing and supervising the Assessor’s Office, Revenue Collection Office, and Controller/Treasurer’s office (accounting, disbursements and investments). Additionally, by special agreement the Finance Department and its director provide financial management services and reports for: Eastern Highlands Health District, Mansfield Discovery Depot (daycare center), and Mansfield Downtown Partnership.

 

The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s in accounting or related field supplemented by a master’s degree in business administration or related field and extensive experience in public finance administration.  Consideration may be given to equivalent experience and training.  Must have and maintain, or obtain within one year of employment, School Business Manager certification (SDE 85).

 

Salary range $95,000-$120,000 with excellent benefits package.
