AMERICAN
RESCUE PLAN (ARPA) PROJECT COORDINATOR
ECONOMIC
& COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
SUMMARY: Serves as primary
contact for City department heads to implement and report utilization of
American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding for approved projects, and primary
contact for subrecipient businesses and non-profits receiving ARPA funding from
the City. Will work closely with
grantees to ensure projects satisfy ARPA-specific requirements concerning procurement,
reporting responsibilities, and other related work. Will serve as staff liaison with the ARPA
Task Force. Maintains all documentation and records including description of
processes; approved ARPA spend plans (budgets), all progress and expense
reports (P&E); subrecipient applications, and all City expenditures of
federal ARPA award. May assist with
placing announcements, posting of ARPA reports, and updating the City’s ARPA
webpage with status reports. Works
collaboratively with the City’s ARPA Consultant. Assists in compiling data, financial reports,
compliance of procurements and other required information. Attends monthly ARPA committee meetings, and
other related meetings, and provides information or assistance as needed. Coordinates and attends calls and meetings
between subrecipients and the ARPA Consultant and/or City. Sends virtual call invites, records
proceedings and distributes findings to participants following each meeting. Performs related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
PROFILE: Prefer Bachelor’s Degree from accredited
university/college in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance,
Political Science or Public Administration. Prefer knowledge of provisions of the American
Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), ARPA Final Rule, ARPA FAQs, Federal Uniform Guidance (2
CFR 200) and ARPA Compliance and Reporting Manual. Experience in grant writing/management, and
strong customer service skills are desirable. Requires proficiency with
database, spread sheet and word processing software, and excellent written and
oral communication skills.
CLASSIFICATION
& TERM OF ASSIGNMENT: Part-time,
non-benefited temporary position, 18.75 hours per week with flexible schedule; available
work hours occur between Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Assignment term starting immediately and be
completed by December 2025.
WAGES: $32.00/hour.
