NOTICE OF JOB OPENING
of Human Resources/Risk Management
Non-union position, 40 hours/week
SALARY RANGE: Minimum
entry rate: $95,817

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Employee Relations, Business or
Public Administration, with a minimum of ten (10) years of related experience
or a Masterís Degree in Employee Relations, Business or Public Administration
with a minimum of six (6) years of related experience. Excellent communication
skills, both verbal and written. Must perform highly responsible, complex and
confidential work in the administration of human resources, labor relations,
risk management and employee benefits. Must negotiate and administrate
collective bargaining agreements and associated labor relations work, including
managing outside counsel involvement.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Professional certification from
NPELRA, IPMA and/or SHRM preferred. Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and/or
Associate in Risk Management for Public Entities (ARM-P) from the American
Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters desired. Valid Motor
Vehicle Operatorís License.
