Chief Financial Officer – Town of Somers
This is a highly responsible administrative position involving the direction of a board range of municipal financial functions. Work involves responsibility for planning and coordinating all town financial transactions and purchases as well as financial forecasting and planning, budgeting and reporting and other functions.
Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, public or business administration with five years experience in governmental accounting, fund accounting and knowledge of the Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB).
Salary range $75,000.00 - $84,000.00 based on experience, with town benefits.
