Accounts Payable – Finance Depart. Town of Weston, CT: Reports to Finance Director – Responsibilities include: processing of vendor accounts payable checks; maintain W-9 forms for 1099 compliance; processing of Town deposits; journal entries; bank reconciliations; perform various billing functions and maintain accounts receivable; make copies of and file bank statements; produce various reports as required; assist in providing information to auditors; perform other administrative tasks as necessary. Minimum requirements: BA in finance/accounting preferred; 3 years experience; municipal experience preferred. Proficient in Accounting Software, Excel, Word.
Position is budgeted at 25.5 hours/week at $24.90/hour, and is eligible for benefits.
