Director of Finance and Contracted Services

The Consolidated School District of New Britain, CT, is a dynamic and progressive urban school district with a diverse population.  Due to the upcoming retirement of the incumbent Director, an opportunity exists for a highly motivated executive who has demonstrated skills in financial and staff leadership.  We are seeking an innovative, dynamic and experienced administrator to provide creative leadership for the following position which will be available on or about June 1, 2010:

•             Director of Finance and Contracted Services

$117,500 negotiable

We require:

• Master’s degree in business;
• Demonstrated leadership strengths in finance & contracted services;
• Experience in designing, implementing and monitoring accounting, reporting, purchasing and budgetary systems.
