The Town of Hamden is looking for an experienced Finance Director to oversee the financial planning and management of the offices of the Assessor, the Tax Collector, Finance, Risk Management and payroll. This position is highly responsible and requires a comprehensive understanding of municipal finance. The successful candidate must have a proven track record in the full range of municipal finance activities including budget, financial reporting, purchasing and strategic planning.

This position is unclassified and non-competitive. It is a Mayoral appointment subject to Legislative Council approval. Salary is DOQ.
